This Working Group exists to raise awareness of COWRIE. It's responsibilities include:

• developing and implementing a communications strategy;
• disseminating the results and outputs of the Technical Working Groups in an appropriate format;
• overseeing the COWRIE website;
• developing educational initiatives;
• issuing press releases; and
• maintaining links with government research programmes and European offshore wind energy networks.
  

The COWRIE website is the main vehicle for dissemination of information concerning COWRIE and is the main source of authoritative information and data on the UK offshore windfarm programme. The website also provides links to relevant information from The Crown Estate, the BWEA, DECC and offshore windfarm developers.
