Anemones look like flowers, but are actually carnivorous animals!  This is a small anemone with 200 stinging tentacles which are used to catch tiny animals for food.  This anemone can occur in several different colours including pink, white and red, and may be found in caves and rock pools as well as in deeper water attached to hard surfaces.
