Also known as the pie crab or pasty crab because the shell has a crimped edge like a pasty. Every year about 10,000 tonnes of these crabs are caught for food.  These crabs are active predators and eat many different animals including mussels, other crabs and even smaller edible crabs!  They will eat lots of the animals found around the turbines.
