Rosy feather star

This animal has five pairs of feathery arms up to 10 cm long, which it spreads out in the water to catch its food - tiny animals drifting in the currents (plankton).  It can also swim by moving these arms up and down.  When feeding or resting it grips tightly onto hard surfaces with its tube-like feet.
