Marine Mammals

Bottle-nosed dolphin

Although they live in the water dolphins are mammals which breathe air just like you do – that’s why they surface regularly while swimming. They can grow up to four metres long, and eat fish, squid and shrimps. Dolphins have sharp hearing, so it’s important to make sure that they aren’t disturbed by loud noises.
